Now on the App Store

Every wishlist says $0.00.
You’re waiting on the number inside.

DropRoost tracks in-app purchase and subscription prices — the Pro unlock, the lifetime tier, the annual plan — on a real server that checks around the clock. So the alert lands when the sale starts, not hours late and not never.

The $0.00 problem

Two numbers. Only one of them ever moves.

The App Store went free-with-in-app-purchase a decade ago. The apps you actually want are all free to download — their real price lives inside.

Every other wishlist app tracks the number on the left. DropRoost tracks the number on the right — the one you were actually waiting on a sale for.

Built for people who wait for the sale.

Six things it does. One of them nothing else does at all.

The wedge 01

In-app & subscription prices

Watch the Pro unlock, the lifetime tier or the annual plan on any app — and catch it the moment it goes on sale. No other App Store wishlist tracks this number.

02

Alerts that actually arrive

A real server checks prices around the clock and pushes the notification. Nothing depends on your phone waking up to go and look — which is why other “instant alert” apps so often aren’t.

Why a subscription? The App Store doesn’t expose in-app prices to a client, so fetching them means a server running all year. An app on its own structurally can’t do it.

DropRoost stores only what it needs to check prices and send alerts — the items you chose to track, your region, a notification token and your alert settings. Your wishlist itself lives in your own private iCloud. Nothing is ever sold or shared. Read the privacy policy →

Common questions

What can DropRoost track that other wishlists can’t?

The price of in-app purchases and subscriptions — the Pro unlock, the lifetime tier, the annual plan. That’s the number that actually costs money for modern apps. Everyone else tracks the download price, which is $0.00 for almost everything.

Why do alerts “actually arrive”?

Most wishlist apps check prices on your device with background refresh, which iOS gives no guarantee about — so the check runs late or not at all. DropRoost checks on its own server and pushes you a notification. Reliability is the whole point.

Do I have to pay a subscription?

No — the app is free, including widgets and every alert rule. The only charge is IAP Tracking ($4.99/year). If you only want app-price alerts, you never pay a cent.

Which devices does it run on?

iPhone, iPad and Mac, native on each — including a Mac menu-bar extra. Your wishlist syncs across all of them through your private iCloud.

I use another wishlist app. Can I bring my list over?

Yes. DropRoost imports a list exported from WSH LST, so you don’t start from an empty screen.

How do refunds work?

Purchases go through Apple, so refunds do too. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com within 90 days of purchase.
